Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our skilled QA/QC team. You will inspect and test semi-finished and finished vehicles, identify quality issues and help implement effective containment and corrective actions.

You will work closely with the Quality Manager and other departments to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with drawings and customer specifications, and support timely, high-quality vehicle delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on quality role in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specs.
• Experience with non-conformance, corrective actions and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough inspections and testing of semi-finished and finished vehicles.
• Identify, record and report quality issues and non-conformances.
• Ensure issues are contained and followed through to resolution.
• Support investigations into internal and customer-related non-conformances.
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Support QA/QC day-to-day activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
