Job summary

Major Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced End-of-Line Quality Inspector to join our client’s busy automotive manufacturing operation in Witham. You will carry out quality inspections on high-end automotive components and ensure products meet quality and customer standards before leaving the production line. The role involves reading drawings, using inspection tools, and documenting results for internal records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality inspection, quality engineering, or end-of-line inspection.
• Automotive or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out end-of-line quality inspections on automotive components.
• Inspect finished products for defects, damage and quality issues.
• Check components against drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Use measuring equipment and inspection tools where required.
• Identify and record non-conforming products.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Complete quality documentation and inspection reports.
• Ensure products meet customer and company requirements before dispatch.
• Support investigations into recurring quality problems.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when inspecting high-value automotive components.

The role will involve carrying out quality inspections and checks on high-end automotive components and car parts, ensuring products meet the required quality and customer standards before leaving the production line.

• Supporting investigations into recurring quality problems.
• Maintaining a high level of attention to detail when inspecting high-value automotive components.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quality inspection, quality engineering or end-of-line inspection.
• Automotive or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident identifying defects and quality issues.
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Pay

£12.71 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience

8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday

40 hours per week, overtime will be available

Witham, Essex
