Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team in Wellington, Somerset. You will carry out in-process and final inspections, ensuring products meet customer specifications before dispatch.

The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience, excellent attention to detail, and is capable of reading drawings and using measuring equipment. The role offers a permanent full-time contract and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or quality inspection.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-process and final product inspections.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment.
• Verify inspections and quality checks were completed correctly.
• Ensure operators follow work instructions and quality procedures.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
• Check product identification, labels and packaging before dispatch.
• Identify, segregate and report non-conforming products.
• Assist with containment and sorting when required.
• Highlight recurring quality issues and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure all work aligns with Health & Safety procedures.
