Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is working with a market‑leading precision engineering company in Poole to recruit a Quality Inspector for Defence and Aerospace sectors. You will perform hands-on quality inspections to AS9100 standards, develop improvement strategies and ensure parts meet client specifications, with a 39-hour week, early finish Friday, and 33 days holiday.

Salary is £42,000-£46,000 with progression opportunities and long-term stability in a growing SME supplier to the defence

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out quality inspections to AS9100 standards.
• Background in manufacturing, preferably in defence/aerospace.
• Ability to develop and implement improvement strategies within quality processes.

Responsibilities

Are you a Quality Inspector or from a manufacturing background who has worked with AS9100 or similar looking for a varied role where you will be an essential part of a market leading precision engineering company supplying to the Defence and Aerospace sectors?

This market-leading manufacturer in CNC for the Aerospace sector who have witnessed steady growth since their establishment in over 50 years ago. Operating as a subcontract manufacturer the compare are accredited to AS 9100 and work in full assembly of precision sheet metal and fabrication.

In this varied role your responsibilities will primarily be hands-on quality responsibilities such as inspections. You will work to AS9100 accreditations to ensure the quality of all products are manufactured to clients requirements. Due to their continued growth this is a great opportunity to develop within the company long-term.
