Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Quality Inspector (Manufacturing) for a well-established engineering company in Basildon. Salary £35,000 to £40,000 plus training, pension and a range of benefits, plus an early finish every Friday.

You will inspect components, perform precision measurements with micrometres, callipers and gauges, and keep accurate inspection records in an ISO9001 environment. Ideal candidates will have a mechanical background and be commutable to Basildon.

Qualifications

• ISO9001 environment experience is essential.
• Mechanical background with ability to read drawings and tolerances.
• Clear understanding of specifications and dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document defects.
