Join a team of Master Craftsmen as a Quality Inspector in Automotive Manufacturing, with a preferred location near Daventry, offering an hourly rate of GBP 25.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Inspector within Automotive Manufacturing, you will use your mechanical skills and meticulous eye for detail to thoroughly assess vehicle builds. You will lead inspections, ensuring safety-critical criteria and aesthetic standards are met with precision.

Are you ready to take on the following responsibilities?

• Leading quality inspections
• Validating safety-critical criteria including torques, routing, connections, specifications, and fitment (over 100 checks)
• Validating aesthetic criteria with clear standards
• Applying problem-solving techniques
• Analyzing and addressing production issues using the 4M method: Man (People), Machine (Equipment), Material, and Method (Process)
• Adopting a right-first-time approach
• Ensuring operator awareness of standards and communicating standards to all teams
• Logging build faults and liaising with the build team to drive efficient fault resolution and foster a no-fault-forward culture
• Maturing inline quality processes

Hours

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday 7:00 am to 12:45 pm, with opportunities for weekday and Saturday overtime.
