Job summary

Quest Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a Buckingham-based role with a client renowned in CNC machined composite pattern and mould tooling. The position emphasizes delivering high-precision parts to demanding schedules in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in machine shop quality roles, expertise with CMMs and PC-DMIS, and hands-on experience with Faro/Hexagon measurement tools to ensure strict tolerances are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop environment.
• Experience with CMM machines for 5+ years.
• Experience programming CMM machines for 5+ years.
• Proficient with PC-DMIS software.
• Experience with Faro or Hexagon arms.
• Ability to use manual and digital measuring equipment.
• Proven background in engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of CNC machined components.
• Operate and program CMMs to verify tolerances.
• Utilize PC-DMIS software and arm equipment for measurements.
• Collaborate with production to meet tight schedules and deadlines.

Quality Inspector

Our client is an unparalleled quality specialist in CNC machined composite pattern and mould manufacturing that we produce and have the ability to adapt to high-pressure and demanding environments. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join this business in Buckingham.

Key skills required from the Quality Inspector:

• Must have over 5+ years working experience as a Quality Inspector in a machineshop environment
• We require experience with CMM machines at least 5 years
• Experience of programming CMM Machines at least 5 years
• Must have ability to use PcDmis software is requried
• Experience of Faro Arms or Hexagon Arms will be requried
• Ability use manual and digital measuring equipment
• Proven background in engineering manufacturing
