Job summary

GI Group Main Account is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our site in Tutbury. No experience is required as full training is provided. The role pays £12.71 per hour and includes training and development from day one, free tea and coffee, and free on-site parking.

Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday starting at 06:00. You will inspect products, packaging and labelling to ensure they meet high standards and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic food hygiene.
• Experience in busy production environments is desirable but not required.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

About the role:

As a Quality inspector you will help ensure that all the products we produce meet our and the customer's high standards. You'll be working as part of a tram that checks the quality of products, packaging and ensures labelling is accurate and correct.

• Checking the quality of products.
• Ensuring the product meets customer specifications.
• Completing packing checks for seals, labels and product types.
• Checking the accuracy of labels and weights.
• Completing paperwork.

What you'll need to be successful:

• An understanding of basic food hygiene.
• Experience in busy environments.
• Good understanding of written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is desirable but not essential
