Job summary

INDWARE is hiring a Quality Inspector / PDI Technician for an automotive manufacturing site in Gaydon, Warwick. The role ensures wheels and vehicles meet strict quality standards before release.

You'll follow production plans, organise wheel sequencing, perform PDI tasks, and report defects to keep operations smooth and on schedule. Immediate starts available on dayshift.

Position: Quality Inspector / PDI Technician

Location: Gaydon, Warwick

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (PAYE)

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Follow daily production and launch-to-line plans.
• Organise and sequence wheels for delivery directly to the production line.
• Identify and rectify sequencing issues before wheels reach the fit station.
• Inspect wheels for defects and source alternatives where required.
• Carry out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) support activities.
• Conduct visual quality checks and report any defects or concerns.
• Ensure vehicles meet required quality standards prior to release.
• Maintain a clean, organised working area to support efficient production.
• Escalate issues promptly to minimise disruption to production.

Skills and experience:

• Previous automotive, production, PDI or vehicle preparation experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail.

This role offers immediate starts and a structured work schedule, with hours from Monday to Thursday, 6:15am - 3:15pm, and Friday, 6:15am - 11:15am. Located in Gaydon, Warwick, this position is ideal for candidates who are ready to jump into a hands‑on role and contribute to a high-quality production process.
