Job summary

INDWARE in Gaydon, Warwickshire, is seeking a Quality Inspector / PDI Technician to join a busy automotive manufacturing environment. You will follow daily plans, organise wheels for delivery to the production line, and perform pre-delivery inspections.

The role emphasizes defect identification, sourcing alternatives, and reporting to keep production on track. A hands-on, detail-oriented candidate with automotive/PDI experience is preferred, with good planning and communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily production and launch-to-line plans.
• Organise and sequence wheels for delivery directly to the production line.
• Identify and rectify sequencing issues before wheels reach the fit station.
• Inspect wheels for defects and source alternatives where required.
• Carry out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) support activities.
• Conduct visual quality checks and report any defects or concerns.
• Ensure vehicles meet required quality standards prior to release.
• Maintain a clean, organised working area to support efficient production.
• Escalate issues promptly to minimise disruption to production.
