Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Quality Inspector for an Alcester-based manufacturer producing high-precision metal components for aerospace, defence and power generation. You will perform 3D optical inspections, reading drawings, and ensure data is accurately recorded in the inspection database.

The role involves first and final inspections using manual/visual methods, and supporting non-conformance processes. Shift pattern: late supper, with on-site parking and a modern, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with quality control procedures and standards and have held a quality control role in a manufacturing environment
• Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
• CAD knowledge
• Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
• Strong team player
• An advantage would be to hold experience of the aerospace industry

Responsibilities

The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.

They are seeking to recruit a Quality Inspector for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations using 3D Optical scanners
• Performing 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques
• Population of the inspection database with all relevant dimensions
• Sentencing of all parts inspected on optical (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM

The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am – Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm
