Job summary

Nu Staff is recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy production environment in Pontypool on a 6-month project. The role includes day shifts, an hourly pay of £13.98 and a £1 bonus on completion if criteria are met.

Immediate start available and opportunities for progression and ongoing training. Responsibilities include inspecting components and finished products, performing visual and dimensional checks, and recording results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect components and finished products against quality standards.

Quality Inspector - Pontypool

£13.98 per hour | £1(Apply online only) Bonus Available | Immediate Start Available

Nu Staff are recruiting for Quality Inspectors to join a leading manufacturing business based in Pontypool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality to join a busy production environment on a major project running through until December.

This is a 6-month project, with a £1(Apply online only) completion bonus available for candidates who successfully complete the project and meet the required criteria.

Hours of Work

Day Shift (Training Period):
Monday to Thursday: 7:00AM - 4:00PM
Friday: 7:00AM - 1:00PM

Pay

£13.98 per hour

Bonus Opportunity

£1(Apply online only) bonus payment upon successful completion of the (subject to attendance, performance, and client criteria being met).

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting components and finished products against quality standards
• Conducting visual and dimensional checks using measuring equipment
• Identifying defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns
• Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation
• Supporting production teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved
• Assisting with investigations into quality issues and corrective actions
• Ensuring products meet customer and company specifications
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the inspection area
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
