Job summary

PROMAN is recruiting a Quality Inspector for a leading manufacturer within the automotive and construction equipment sector. Immediate starts available; Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 16:00.

Temp to Perm opportunities offered, with potential for long-term progression. As a Quality Inspector you will perform visual and functional inspections, identify faults, record results, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or rework is preferred.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out visual and functional inspections on construction equipment and components.
• Identify faults and complete rework in line with technical instructions.
• Record inspection results accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and site procedures.
• Travel to other company locations when required.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products meet the highest standards before reaching customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out visual and functional inspections on construction equipment and components
• Identifying faults and completing rework in line with technical instructions
• Recording inspection results accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and site procedures
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Travelling to other company locations when required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, production, assembly, engineering, or rework

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience using hand and power tools

Full UK Driving Licence

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Paint inspection
• Weld inspection
• Abrasive wheel or grinding operations
• Testing equipment
• Automotive, engineering, or construction equipment manufacturing

Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
