Job summary

Reed is seeking a detail-focused Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment producing high-precision aerospace and power generation components. You will ensure components meet the highest standards before they reach customers, using a range of measuring equipment and inspection plans.

The role requires experience in quality inspection within manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and good interpretation of engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Previous Quality Inspection experience within manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality concerns.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and quality documentation.
• IT literate and comfortable using business systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precision-engineered components using a variety of measuring equipment.
• Complete dimensional, visual and quality inspections in line with inspection plans and specifications.
• Verify material traceability and part marking requirements.
• Accurately complete inspection and production documentation.
• Ensure quality standards, procedures and customer requirements are met.
• Report non-conformances and support corrective actions where required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance.
