Job summary

Actio Engineering Recruitment in Aldershot is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering team on a permanent dayshift. You will carry out visual and dimensional inspections on precision machined components, including first-off and in-process checks, and ensure materials pass incoming inspection before production.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using micrometers, verniers, height gauges, gauges, and CMM equipment (Aberlink desirable).

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Quality Inspector position in a precision engineering or machining environment.
• Strong visual and dimensional inspection skills.
• Experience inspecting precision machined components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges and gauges.
• CMM experience, ideally with Aberlink software, although training can be provided.
• A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
