Job summary

Lovemead Group Practice / Roundstone Surgery is seeking a proactive Deputy Practice Manager to join the leadership team. This role collaborates with the Practice Manager and GP Partners to drive quality, clinical governance, complaints handling and patient experience, while supporting operational and staff management.

The post is 30 hours per week over 4 days with a salary of £40,000-£45,000 FTE, plus NHS Pension Scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in general practice or NHS management is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead quality, governance and complaints processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within primary care.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality, governance and complaints processes.
• Support significant events, risk management, quality improvement and CQC readiness.
• Help to improve systems, processes and patient experience.
• Support operational and staff management matters.
• Take ownership of projects and areas of responsibility.
• Deputise for the Practice Manager when appropriate.
