Job summary

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Divisional Quality Governance Facilitator to coordinate patient safety activities, incident investigations and risk management within the division. The role focuses on analysing quality data, building dashboards and reporting to the divisional senior team to drive practice improvements.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience, NHS governance exposure, and strong data and report-writing skills to support

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Quality governance experience in the NHS or healthcare setting.
• Ability to write reports and investigations.
• Ability to analyse data from a range of sources.
• Experience with clinical audits.
• Experience with change management in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Support patient safety, quality improvement and governance activity across the division.
• Coordinate and support clinical incident investigations and share the learning.
• Maintain divisional risk registers and support escalation and management of risks.
• Analyse and report on quality indicators including incidents, complaints, audits and performance.
• Develop and maintain quality governance dashboards, reports and data collection systems.
• Advise clinical teams on patient safety, risk management and quality improvement.
• Facilitate governance meetings and support the divisional senior team with reports, action plans and progress monitoring.
• Support compliance with national standards, regulatory requirements and external inspections.
• Build working relationships with clinical, managerial and governance teams to embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
