Job summary

apetito, the UK’s leading food supplier to the health and social care sectors, invites applications for a Meals Supervisor - Nights on Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00. The role offers a salary of £39,630 plus shift allowance and benefits, with responsibilities on the production line to maintain quality and safety.

You will lead the night team, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with production, quality, and engineering, and cover shift manager duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a team to shared goals and targets.
• Be able to make quick, reasoned decisions and communicate them to the team.
• Comfortable with numbers and basic data analysis using SAP/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to deliver products right first time, meeting quality, productivity and plan attainment targets.
• Reduce waste and material giveaway through monitoring, control and training.
• Ensure all quality, production and SAP documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Drive continuous improvement, investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, housekeeping and compliance with BRC requirements.
• Champion Health & Safety and promote safe working practices.
