Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is working with an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced Quality Manager. The role involves supervising 3 direct reports.

Main Responsibilities

1. Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO9001 requirements.
2. Engage in new product introduction activities.
3. Ensure compliance with customer specifications.
4. Manage and resolve customer, supplier, and internal non-conformances.
5. Conduct process and product audits periodically.
6. Identify and act upon opportunities for improvement.
7. Generate process-related documentation including work instructions, quality alerts, PFMEAs, control plans, etc.
8. Support production trials.
9. Develop and report on Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
10. Oversee engineering changes driven by customers and internally.
11. Generate and maintain relevant KPIs.
12. Supervise and lead a team of 3 shift QC personnel.
13. Maintain flexibility and adaptability within the business environment.

Experience and Skills Required

1. Minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
2. Experience in a customer-facing role.
3. Knowledge of core quality tools: FMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP.
4. Understanding of lean techniques and methodologies.
5. Ability to interpret technical drawings.
6. Familiarity with problem-solving tools.
7. Commercial awareness.
8. Experience with CMM / Faro arm operation.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
10. Supervisory experience.
11. Experience with Polyworks and knowledge of IMDS (preferred).
