Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking a Quality Engineer in Telford with hybrid working options (2 days in office). You will drive quality across the scrum team, implementing the Core Modernisation Test Strategy and automation to shift left and reduce risk.

The role requires strong testing and automation experience within CI/CD, plus the ability to coach others and collaborate across the team. The initial contract is 6 months, with umbrella payroll options and a daily rate of up to £540.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quality engineering within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to apply risk-based testing and test automation strategies.
• Knowledge of databases and test data creation is desirable.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and shift-left testing.
• Strong communication skills and coaching others in QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply structured testing and automation approaches using TDD/BDD.
• Contribute to CI/CD lifecycle with automation and testing frameworks.
• Perform risk-based testing and ensure test coverage across levels (Unit, System, Functional, Integration).
• Upskill the engineering team to improve QA capability.
• Design and analyze tests, data, and collateral to ensure quality.
