CBSbutler is seeking a Quality Engineer in Telford on a hybrid basis (2 days on site). You will work in a Scrum team on a modernisation programme, driving quality across the SDLC with a focus on test automation, CI/CD and shift-left practices.
The role involves designing automated tests, improving coverage, and coaching engineers on quality engineering best practices across the product stack.
Location: Telford/ hybrid - 2 days per week onsite
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Up to £500 inside ir35
Clearance: BPSS required
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a modernisation programme, working as part of a Scrum team to drive quality throughout the full software development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on test automation, CI/CD and shift-left quality, helping engineering teams build quality into applications from the outset rather than relying solely on testing at the end of development.
You will work across the product stack, designing and implementing automated test solutions, improving test coverage and coaching engineers on quality engineering best practice.
