We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a modernisation programme, working as part of a Scrum team to drive quality throughout the full software development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on test automation, CI/CD and shift-left quality, helping engineering teams build quality into applications from the outset rather than relying solely on testing at the end of development.
You will work across the product stack, designing and implementing automated test solutions, improving test coverage and coaching engineers on quality engineering best practice.
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
JUnit | Playwright | Selenium | Cucumber/Gherkin | Gatling | OWASP ZAP | SonarQube | WireMock | Axe | WCAG | Kubernetes | Docker | Microservices | AWS | OpenAPI | GitHub Copilot
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer with strong Java and automation experience to work on a major modernisation programme, helping shape quality engineering practices and drive greater automation across the development lifecycle.
If you're passionate about automation, continuous improvement and embedding quality into software development from day one, we'd be keen to hear from you.
