Quality Engineer – Nuclear QC Lead (On‑Site 3x/Week)

Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Quality Engineer for the HPC project, based on-site at Hinkley Point C. You will support QA/QC across the supply chain, acting as Intelligent Customer to ensure contracts are met from manufacturing through installation, testing and commissioning.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver safe, efficient, right-first-time quality. Maintain PQCPs, monitor dashboards, expedite audit findings, review LTQRs and EOMRs, and share lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of quality management principles in large, contract-led environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
• Experience in nuclear or highly regulated projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Management Leads (QMLs) in applying quality arrangements across the supply chain.
• Prepare, maintain and update Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs).
• Monitor quality deliverables through KANBAN dashboards and support priority management.
• Expedite resolution of audit findings and quality issues within the supply chain.
• Support review and acceptance of LTQRs and related quality documentation.
• Carry out manufacturing inspections at supplier facilities, UK and internationally.
• Assist with close-out of Observation Sheets and non-conformances.
• Support review and acceptance of EOMRs, ECSRs and EESRs.
• Produce lessons learned and continuous improvement reports.
• Provide regular updates to quality leadership and stakeholders.
