Job summary

EDF HPC invites applications for a Quality Management Lead (Mechanical) to drive QA/QC across design, procurement, construction and commissioning on the Hinkley Point C project. You will lead quality programs and ensure materials and processes meet the highest standards from concept through to handover.

We seek an experienced leader in safety-critical industries with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, fluent in English, and with relevant engineering qualifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in safety-critical project delivery, preferably nuclear.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction.
• Proven ability to interpret data, prepare reports and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Champion QA/QC standards across design through commissioning on the Hinkley Point C project.
• Lead quality assurance programs and coordinate with engineering, safety and supply chain.
• Ensure materials, processes and inspections meet highest standards.
• Provide leadership in complex quality environments and influence across teams.

HNC/HND or degree in Science or Engineering
