Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, NPI and continuous improvement at our Tewkesbury site. This hands-on role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to investigate issues, drive root-cause actions and implement sustainable improvements.
Key duties include leading 8D/5 Why investigations, CAPA, PPAP, FAIR and MSA/SPC activities, and developing FMEAs and inspection plans.
Qualifications
- Proven quality engineering experience in manufacturing/production.
- Strong root-cause and structured problem solving skills.
- Experience with 8D, 5 Why and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of FMEA and process controls; QMS experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, specs.
Responsibilities
- Investigate internal, customer and supplier quality issues.
- Lead root-cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone & Pareto.
- Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions.
- Support NPI and ensure quality requirements are understood.
- Develop QA plans, PPAP, CAPA, SPC, FAIR activities.
- Maintain FMEAs, Control Plans, inspection plans.
- Analyze scrap, rework, defects and complaints.
- Conduct audits of processes and suppliers.
