Job summary

TE Connectivity in Swindon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Thermofit Molding Value Stream, leading projects from concept through implementation to deliver safe, efficient, scalable production.

You will collaborate across Operations, Quality, EHS, Industrial Engineering, Planning and external suppliers to apply lean methods, establish robust process controls, resolve production issues, support NPI, and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent with strong manufacturing engineering experience.
Proven track record delivering manufacturing improvement and capital projects.
Understanding of PFMEA, control plans, validation and change control.
Experience with data analysis and structured problem solving.
Experience with lean manufacturing and NPI/process industrialisation.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver manufacturing projects from concept through installation and handover.
Analyse data to identify opportunities, justify capital investments and drive improvements.
Develop and maintain robust processes, work instructions, and control plans.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Planning and Supply Chain to meet targets.
Support new product introduction and product transfers into production.
