Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Quality Engineer to assure supplier quality and product conformance across the program life cycle at the Cwmbran site. You will act as the quality interface, translating customer requirements into actionable quality plans and ensuring adherence to standards throughout manufacturing.

You should bring HNC/HND in engineering, AS9100 training, and a strong background in aerospace quality tools and audits to support risk management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HNC / HND in Engineering is essential.
• Internal Auditor AS9100 trained is essential.
• Sound engineering/quality background with experience in quality inspection in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience in Supplier Quality is essential for SQA Engineer.
• Aerospace industry experience, interiors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a quality interface and maintain trust with customers.
• Ensure quality requirements are translated into program deliverables.
• Support rollout of new programs and develop product standards.
• Guarantee quality performance throughout the product lifecycle with Safran Seats GB.
