Job summary

Safran Seats GB is seeking a Quality role focused on maintaining the Quality Management System for the SGB repair station to ensure compliance with EASA and UK CAA Part 145, and EN9100 for repair activity. The role serves as the main contact with regulatory bodies and provides support across Safran Seats GB functions involved in maintenance and repair activities.

The position supports internal audits, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture, with occasional travel and hybrid

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
• Quality background with MRO (P145), Aviation Safety (SMS) and Human Factors.
• Ability to communicate and develop good relationships with external stakeholders (Customers, Authorities) and internal stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Good knowledge of process management.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for customer and regulatory audits to ensure AS9100 and EASA 145 compliance.
• Protect customers from non-quality by ensuring repaired products meet regulations and Safran standards.
• Develop the Safety culture and SMS maturity within the Repair Station.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and feedback and support the repair station.
• Undertake other duties aligned with Customer Support & Services needs and Safran objectives.
• Develop and manage the internal audit programme to ensure compliance with EASA/UK CAA Part 145.
• Conduct internal, external, process and product audits, including support for Part 21G audits.
• Manage audit findings, non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and assist in managing operational safety risks.
• Work with Quality Compliance, Aftermarket and wider teams on quality system matters.
• Support training and coaching in quality improvement tools, Human Factors and best practices.
• Monitor and facilitate the review of Repair Station documentation.
