My established client specialises in manufacturing components for various industries. They are currently looking for a new Quality Engineer to join their small but established quality team. The role is commutable from Nuneaton, Warwick, Rugby, Leamington Spa, and Hinckley.

Duties Include - Quality Engineer

1. Internal ISO Auditing and managing the ISO standard
2. Overseeing a small team of inspectors
3. CMM Operating
4. Hands-on inspection and measurement
5. Monitoring and reporting Quality KPIs
6. Creating PPAP, APQP, and other industry-relevant documentation such as ISIRs, 8Ds, FAIRs
7. Maintaining and improving existing Quality Systems
8. Dealing with customers face-to-face and resolving quality issues

Key Skills / Experience Required - Quality Engineer

1. Experience as a Quality Engineer within the Manufacturing Engineering industry
2. CMM operating or programming experience
3. PPAP and APQP experience
4. Experience carrying out internal audits as per the ISO 9001:2015 standard
5. Experience of dealing with customer queries
6. 5S experience is desirable
7. Competent problem-solving skills
8. Excellent oral and written English and basic computer skills

The Package - Quality Manager

• Starting salary of up to £45K per annum, depending on experience
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday including early finish Friday
• Pension and enhanced holiday package
