My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow (approx. 20 mins from City Centre). The site is commutable from the majority of the central belt including Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Falkirk, Stirling, Livingston, and West Lothian.

You will be working with a successful manufacturer that ranks as the highest-rated branded company within their industry as one of their clients. Every member of the Quality team is vital in ensuring that the highest product standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that root cause analysis for internal & external product or process non-conformances is reported on time and that the customer is kept informed of corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
2. Protect the commercial interests of the client in all dealings with customers. The responsibilities of the successful Quality Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following:
3. Implement & maintain customer requirements. Continually improve customer’s monthly performance (target 100%) & DPPM with the goal of 0% defective, including analysis & reporting of customer data.
4. Develop & implement process controls to ensure that process & quality objectives are met.
5. Continuously improve controls, systems & performance both internally and externally.
6. Ensure that production personnel and quality auditors fully understand quality requirements and support them when quality issues arise. Quality Engineers have the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
