L3Harris in Brighton are part of Release Systems and the Mission Avionics sector operating in the Aerospace domain. As part of the RC-135 based Airseeker/Rivet Joint programme, we deliver strategic and tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capability. What The Role Will Involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

• Ensuring compliance with specified quality requirements and assisting in reducing costs. Actively identifying corrective actions and supporting continual improvements.
• Carrying out process and product-based quality audits and verifying corrective actions.
• Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of Continual Improvement, internal and external audit procedures, and producing report data for management review.
• Investigating customer returns and defect issues.
• Generating monthly quality reports.
• Supporting Program Teams meetings by representing the L3Harris QA Team to ensure product development programs are planned for right first time working using prevention tools.

What You’ll Bring

The role of Quality Engineer requires the following experience and skills:

• Full knowledge of the current revision of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Previous Quality Assurance experience, ideally including aerospace, and preferably educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering or Science.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
