Job summary

Fortive seeks a Norwich-based Site Quality & EHS Apprentice to support the Q-EHS program across ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 managed systems at the site. You will work with the Q-EHS Manager to drive quality, environment and safety improvements, conduct investigations, compile KPIs and assist with training and document control.

The role provides learning through an apprenticeship pathway, exposure to audits, Kaizens and daily management activities within the Operations department.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 or 14001 management systems.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• PC literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to conduct training and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Q-EHS manager to maintain and improve quality, Environmental and OHMS management systems.
• Promote a Quality, Environmental and Safety-First culture within the business.
• Conduct incident and nonconformance investigations to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Interact with personnel regarding Q-EHS processes, risk evaluation and control methods.
• Compile and present KPI data.
• Maintain the Q-EHS audit schedule.
• Assist with scheduling and conducting training.
• Review controlled documents.
