Job summary

The Health, Safety & Quality Apprentice role at Thomas Dudley Group is based in Dudley and involves supporting core HSE activities across multiple sites. You will assist with inspections, risk assessments and COSHH records, while contributing to quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

This hands-on apprenticeship offers exposure to audits, investigations and documentation control within a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do:

• Support the HSE Manager with day-to-day Health & Safety activities, including inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Assist with risk assessments, safe systems of work, and the maintenance of accurate COSHH records.
• Help with accident, incident and near-miss reporting, supporting corrective and preventative actions through to completion.
• Contribute to Quality Management System development, internal audits, and the recording of findings, non-conformances and improvement opportunities.
• Support investigations using basic root cause thinking, and help verify actions are implemented and effective.
• Help maintain controlled documentation, support training administration, and support continuous improvement projects across the group sites.

Location:

The Health, Safety & Quality Apprentice role is based in Dudley, with travel across multiple sites within the Thomas Dudley Group.

You must live near to Dudley, West Mids, UK, and have full RTW in the UK for this role, as there will be no sponsorship offered.
