is excited to present an opportunity for a Quality & Product Safety Coordinator position based at our client's Sunderland site. This is a full-time permanent role within a prestigious, market-leading global print business.

The successful candidate will assist the QHSE Manager in maintaining the company's Quality and Hygiene Management System. The role involves daily collaboration with the site management team, focusing on policy compliance and ensuring products meet high safety and quality standards.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with certification bodies, organise site audits, respond to non-conformances, and ensure compliance with certification standards and accreditation systems.
  2. Review and update policies and procedures in collaboration with the QHSE Manager to improve quality management systems.
  3. Complete customer questionnaires and prepare technical specifications.
  4. Manage internal audit and self-inspection programs.
  5. Develop and implement a robust CAPA Program.
  6. Maintain calibration records and coordinate service and repairs for laboratory equipment.
  7. Conduct traceability exercises and manage product withdrawal procedures.
  8. Assist in maintaining the company's HACCP plan.
  9. Deliver short training sessions and conduct awareness briefings.
  10. Perform general quality assurance duties such as process checks, analysis certificates, sample archiving, and laboratory testing (oxygen transmission rate, heat-seal/lamination bond strengths, coefficient of friction, solvent retention, primary aromatic amines).
