Job summary

AMFRESH is recruiting a Packaging Supervisor for our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers consistent hours, good progression, and a clear path for long-term growth within a thriving FMCG business.

You will lead packaging operatives, manage stock, ensure correct packaging for each production line, and maintain accurate records. Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00, £15.90 per hour, with safety and quality at the core of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven packaging/warehouse management experience in food/FMCG.
• Strong inventory management, stock control, and high SKU-experience.
• Analytical and detailed focused, with strong discrepancy and stock reconciliation skills.
• Clear cross-team communication across a business.
• Food Safety Level 3 (desired).

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock checks and keep inventory records accurate.
• Supervise a team of packaging operatives to hit targets.
• Ensure correct packaging is for the correct production line.
• Monitor lead times and stock levels to help prevent production stoppages.
• Update Hold Tracker for any Packaging that is not to used used/or damaged.
• Prepare packaging in advance as per the plan provided by Planning Team.
• Check deliveries for damage or quality problems.
• Check packaging is correct and meet legal and customer requirements.
• Keep clear records so packaging can be traced throughout warehouse and production.
• Collaborate with Packaging Co-ordinator with regards to expected deliveries/any stock issues.
• Keep the packaging areas clean, organised, and safe.
• Use a Reach Truck to support operations when required.

About The Role

• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (07:00 - 16:00).


• Hourly Pay: £15.90 per hour.

As an AMFRESH Packaging Supervisor, you will:

• Carry out regular stock checks and keep inventory records accurate.
