Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK, located in Bolton, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to conduct sampling, field testing and specimen preparation for Concrete, Asphalt and Quarry products. You will adhere to British standards and company protocols while working in a team with remote supervision, delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining rigorous quality management.

You will help ensure product quality aligns with commercial and operational needs, investigate issues, and contribute

Qualifications

• Experience with sampling, testing and preparation of concrete, asphalt and quarry products.
• Knowledge of British/European standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, field testing and specimen preparation for concrete, asphalt and quarry products.
• Maintain high quality technical support to Commercial, Operations and external customers.
• Investigate quality issues and feed back to technical/operations teams at sites/depots.
• Raise NCRs and Near Hits as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Assist with transportation of test specimens.
