Job summary

A QC Technician role at Ampacet Corporation in Telford, United Kingdom, within the Quality Control department on a permanent contract. • Previous experience in a Quality Control function.
• Knowledge and working practice in the plastics/masterbatch industry.
• Strong organisation, multitasking, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, with supervision.
• Collaborative, ethical, adaptable, safety-focused and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Follow QC procedures and perform required product testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in a clean, safe and fully operational condition.
• Issue reports of equipment faults and quality issues promptly through the appropriate processes.
• Support product quality, customer satisfaction and site performance through accurate testing and reporting.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, QSE, Sales and other site functions.
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities within the Quality Control function.
