Job summary

Our client, Jayfair Recruitment Solutions Limited, is seeking a Quality Technician for a manufacturing facility near Alfreton. You will conduct quality checks across extrusion, butt fusion and assembly, following the Quality Plan.

The role requires close collaboration with production and QA teams to ensure compliance and identify non-conformances. Attention to detail and experience with measuring equipment such as Calipers are essential, as is strong communication to support investigations and

• Previous experience of working with Quality Control (ideally within manufacturing).
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in using measuring equipment (Calipers).
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on products currently being manufactured across all departments, including Extrusion, Butt Fusion and assembly.
• Follow standard work instructions to inspect each item in line with the defined Quality Plan.
• Escalate any non-conformances immediately to the QA Lab Team Leader.
• Complete all required quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Raise Non-Conformance Material Reports
• Raise SSR cards when risks or near misses are identified.
• Support manufacturing teams with investigations and corrective actions where required.

Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their manufacturing facility near Alfreton.

This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality across multiple manufacturing departments. The successful candidate will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with quality plans, identify non-conformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
