Job summary

PRS Engineering has an opportunity for a QC Inspector based in the West Midlands. You will inspect goods inwards, perform patrol and final inspections, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications. The role supports a Quality Control department and requires a strong team-player attitude.

You will maintain stores, compile quality records, and liaise with suppliers, inspectors and internal departments. A driving licence and technical education are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4+)
• HNC (or equivalent) in a technical discipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
• Industry knowledge within Oil & Gas or related manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials at Goods Inwards and on the shop floor
• Perform final inspection before despatch
• Maintain stores and housekeeping per company policy
• Prepare NCRs and documentation for quality records
• Support internal departments and liaise with suppliers and inspectors
