Industrials Process Equipment in Poca, WV is looking to hire a Quality Control Inspector.

This position allows you to apply your skills to a company that makes custom-fabricated material handling equipment. Our products are not "cookie-cutter" products. Each project requires imagination and determination. The successful candidate must be able to make decisions that are the best options for the client, prioritizing safety and cost-effectiveness for all parties involved.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Detect non-conforming raw materials, work in process, and finished goods; notify the proper parties.
• Evaluate items against company-specified tolerances and acceptance criteria.
• Attend all production meetings to review the current status of work.
• Monitor work activities to prevent damage to parts or inspection tools.
• Cross-train in other areas of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience responsible for inspection and evaluation of incoming raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals.
• Capable of performing at least one type of non-destructive examination.
• Ability to use jigs and fixtures to perform inspections.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of inspection tooling.
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation.
