Qualifications

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform detailed dimensional inspections using Polyworks, PC-DMIS software, and utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Portable Arms, and Trackers to verify product specifications.
• Support manufacturing in performing in-process inspections to ensure components meet design and manufacturing standards.
• Document inspection findings and communicate results effectively to relevant team members, with thorough knowledge of the QRS system.
• Maintain quality control documentation and records.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control Inspection Manager and other departments to address quality issues and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and in working order.
• Comply with health and safety regulations during inspections.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quality control role, preferably in motorsport or aerospace industries, working with both composite and metallic materials.
• Proficiency in metrology software, including offline programming with Polyworks and Pcdmis.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment, and software such as Polyworks and Pcdmis.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify defects and prepare detailed reports, including dimensional analysis and NCRs.
• Effective communication skills to convey findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Commitment to high quality and safety standards.
