Our workshop in Kintore seeks a motivated individual to support dimensional inspections, NDT, and weld inspections. If you have a can-do attitude and enjoy working in a close-knit team, we look forward to your application!

Job Responsibilities
  1. Inspect components dimensionally and visually based on drawings and datasheets in line with current processes and procedures.
  2. Review and report on product quality non-conformance reports (NCRs) and system failures to drive continuous improvements.
  3. Verify that manufactured, assembled, and tested equipment conforms to specifications and customer requirements.
  4. Carry out Non-Destructive Tests on welds, structures, and materials (MPI, LPI, DPT, UT).
  5. Conduct material testing (hardness, PMI).
  6. Produce clear and concise test reports.
  7. Maintain NDE equipment.
  8. Maintain quality relationships with key functions such as fulfillment, engineering, projects, and procurement.
  9. Support development and maintenance of the local Quality Management System.
  10. Ensure compliance with project HSSE and Quality Plans.
  11. Review and approve or reject supplier documents in ERP system.
  12. Inspect consumable components in accordance with standard part requirements and drawings.
  13. Perform incoming material and product inspections.
  14. Support warehouse traceability efforts.
  15. Assist in calibration activities, including in-house calibration and outsourced verification.
  16. Implement solutions to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) collaboratively.
  17. Provide CWI support for welding activities onsite; CSWIP certification is advantageous.
  18. Support global quality standards and objectives.
Qualifications and Training
  1. NDE Level II certification.
  2. CWI or CSWIP certification (or ability to achieve).
  3. ISO 9001 or API Q1 certification (advantageous).
  4. Counterbalance Forklift certificate (B1).
  5. Experience with gauges such as calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers.
  6. Background in manufacturing quality, control, and assurance.
Desired Characteristics
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations.
