Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a Quality Control Engineer in Sittingbourne to ensure products, materials and processes meet stringent standards. You’ll report to the Quality Control Manager and support QC technicians and inspectors, overseeing testing, logging results and maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities include technical validation, interpretation of drawings, data analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining a clean, compliant QC lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality role in manufacturing or a laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of inspection, testing and quality control methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• High attention to detail with strong communication and reporting skills.

• Ensure incidents and non‑conformances are reported correctly.

Quality Control Engineer

Location: Sittingbourne

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Quality Control Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business within the construction sector. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all products, materials and processes meet company and regulatory standards across quality, health & safety and environmental requirements.

This role also involves supporting the day‑to‑day management of the QC team, including technicians and inspectors, ensuring all testing and inspection activities are completed accurately and logged correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out technical validation of products, raw materials and components
