Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Quality Control Manager for a Kent location. The role oversees the QC department within a small, collaborative team, ensuring compliance with HSEQ and company procedures.

You will lead the QC team, conduct root-cause analyses, and drive continuous quality improvements. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in manufacturing or lab quality roles, strong communication and reporting skills, and a solid understanding of ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or laboratory-based quality role.
• Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and quality control methodologies including ISO 9001.
• Good communicator and decisive.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to all company and factory control procedures to ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.
• Manage and support the development of the QC team.
• Carry out root cause investigations using problem solving tools.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (39 hours per week)

Commutable from - Sittingbourne, Gillingham, Chatham, Maidstone, Rochester, Faversham

£40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will work as part of a small team in a friendly working environment and be responsible for the QC department of the business.

Role & Responsibilities

• Implementation and adherence to all company and factory control procedures to ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements
• Manage and support the development of the QC team

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
