Job summary

Taiko, a leading UK sushi and food-to-go manufacturer, is seeking a detail‑driven Warehouse Quality Coordinator to support inbound quality, stock control and compliance across NAV and WMS systems. You’ll ensure traceability, monitor discrepancies and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires flexibility with varying shift patterns and a proactive approach to problem solving, logistics, and cross‑team collaboration.

• Experience in food manufacturing, quality control, warehouse operations or stock administration would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity match specifications and delivery documentation.
• Check inbound pallets and packaging for cleanliness, condition and compliance.
• Receive stock within NAV and WMS systems, generate GRNs and ensure full traceability.
• Monitor product discrepancies, including labels, ingredients and critical stock items, escalate as needed.
• Conduct routine temperature monitoring across warehouse chillers and storage locations.
• Carry out warehouse quality and compliance inspections (hygiene, equipment, environment).
• Complete scheduled pest control checks and report concerns.
• Conduct chemical, equipment and production start-up checks per food safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries, particularly fresh produce, ensuring quality and quantity match specifications and delivery documentation.
• Check all inbound pallets and packaging for cleanliness, condition and compliance.
• Receive stock within NAV and WMS systems, generate GRNs and ensure all goods are correctly labelled for full traceability.
• Monitor product discrepancies, including labels, ingredients and critical stock items, escalating issues where required.
• Conduct routine temperature monitoring across warehouse chillers, freezer areas and storage locations, maintaining accurate records.
• Carry out warehouse quality and compliance inspections, including hygiene, equipment and environmental checks.
• Complete scheduled pest control monitoring checks and report concerns immediately.
• Conduct chemical, equipment and production start-up checks in line with food safety procedures.
