Taiko Acton - BONSAI is hiring for a Warehouse role in Acton, UK. The position is full time (45 hours) with varying shifts and a salary of £27,000.

The role involves stock acceptance, quality checks, and accurate stock control within NAV/WMS systems, plus routine temperature monitoring and food safety steps. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisation, and good IT skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity match documentation.
• Check inbound pallets and packaging for cleanliness and compliance.
• Record stock in NAV and WMS, generate GRNs and label for traceability.
• Monitor product discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform routine temperature checks across chillers and storage areas, with accurate logs.
• Carry out warehouse quality inspections including hygiene and equipment checks.
• Conduct pest control monitoring and report concerns.
• Perform start-up checks in line with food safety procedures.

Warehouse - Taiko Acton- BONSAI

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £27,000

Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s to name a few. Over the past 25 years Taiko has launched more first to market Sushi and Food to Go products than any other sushi manufacturer in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries, particularly fresh produce, ensuring quality and quantity match specifications and delivery documentation.
• Check all inbound pallets and packaging for cleanliness, condition and compliance.
• Receive stock within NAV and WMS systems, generate GRNs and ensure all goods are correctly labelled for full traceability.
• Monitor product discrepancies, including labels, ingredients and critical stock items, escalating issues where required.
• Conduct routine temperature monitoring across warehouse chillers, freezer areas and storage locations, maintaining accurate records.
• Carry out warehouse quality and compliance inspections, including hygiene, equipment and environmental checks.
• Complete scheduled pest control monitoring checks and report concerns immediately.
• Conduct chemical, equipment and production start-up checks in line with food safety procedures.
