Taiko Acton BONSAI is seeking an experienced logistics professional to own import/export activities and manage compliance for international shipments in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with freight forwarders, hauliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining stock accuracy and cost efficiency. A focus on data-driven improvements and KPI tracking will drive performance across the supply chain.

Formación

• Proven experience in logistics, import/export or supply chain (FMCG/food manufacturing a plus).
• Strong knowledge of international trade, customs compliance and Incoterms.
• Experience managing freight forwarders, 3PLs and logistics partners.
• Comfortable working with ERP/WMS systems and data (Excel skills essential).
• A natural problem-solver with strong organisational and negotiation skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Six Sigma experience a bonus).

Responsabilidades

• Own all import and export activity — documentation, compliance, freight and delivery.
• Ensure shipments meet UK, EU and international trade and food safety regulations.
• Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, hauliers and customs agents.
• Monitor shipments, troubleshoot delays and keep everything moving.
• Oversee the flow of goods from supplier to production and factory to customer.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to improve stock accuracy and efficiency.
• Track and drive performance through KPIs (delivery, cost, turnaround, inventory).
• Support peak periods, product launches and promotional planning.
• Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste and improve performance.
• Use data to identify opportunities and drive smarter ways of working.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement and Quality teams.
• Deliver clear reporting and insights to support business decisions.

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £45,000-£50,000

Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury's to name a few. About You
