Job summary

First Military Recruitment, proudly partnering with a leading construction business, seeks a Quality Manager for a permanent role based in Inverness.

You will lead quality planning, governance, and assurance across the project, ensure ISO 19650 compliance, robust document control, and successful testing and commissioning.

Salary is £74,000–£78,000 with a £5,750 car allowance, plus extensive benefits including pension (matched up to 8%), 25 days holiday, private medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience due to scale and complexity of the project.
• Solid understanding of document control processes and ISO 19650 (Annex A).
• Proficient in Excel and Word; familiarity with EDMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality planning and establish a framework for project quality.
• Ensure that quality management system requirements are delivered.
• Verify works meet specifications and that testing and commissioning has taken place.
• Provide governance support on GDPR, Data Protection and other compliance issues as required.
• Manage the Assurance process to ensure project works can be properly certified as correct to the client.
• Drive Improvement activities to assist the project in meeting its goals.
• Provide support and advice on Quality within the context of the project including best practice and lessons learnt activity.
• Oversee document control function (if required).
