Job summary

Right at Home is a nationwide homecare provider delivering high-quality support to clients in their own homes. We are seeking a passionate social care compliance professional to drive excellence through quality assurance, audits, and training across our Midlands portfolio.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of CQC and CIW, travel across the UK, and strong IT skills. You will support franchise owners, update policies, and help achieve Outstanding or Excellent ratings.

Qualifications

• Extensive social care experience with CQC/CIW standards across multiple businesses.
• QCF Level 5 qualification in health & social care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support Franchise Owners in screening and selection of Registered Managers.
• Stay updated on care sector and CQC/CIW changes to guide franchises.
• Review and manage key documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct on-site and remote compliance audits to meet 'Good' CQC/CIW ratings.
• Deliver Quality and Compliance training for Franchisees, Registered Managers, and staff.
• Organise Registered Manager Forums for updates and networking.
• Provide daily quality assurance and compliance support across the group.

Whilst this is a national role and a significant amount of travel is required the ideal candidate will be based within the Midlands region as, as much as possible, offices in your portfolio will be in this region.

Your Duties And Responsibilities

• Support Franchise Owners in screening and selection of high-quality Registered Managers.
• Stay updated on care sector and CQC/ CIW changes, keeping Franchisees informed on best practices for achieving ‘Outstanding’/ 'Excellent' ratings.
• Review, update, and manage key documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct on-site and remote compliance audits to ensure all offices meet at least a "Good" CQC/ CIW rating.
• Guide new Franchisees and Registered Managers through office setup and CQC/ CIW registration.
• Develop and deliver top-tier Quality and Compliance training for Franchisees, Registered Managers, and care staff.
• Organise Registered Manager Forums to provide training updates, legislative changes, and networking opportunities.
• Continuously refine processes to enhance service quality for Clients.
• Support senior management and collaborate with the Head of Quality and Compliance on quality assurance improvements.
• Provide daily quality assurance and compliance support across the group.

Qualifications & Experience

• In-depth experience and knowledge of the social care industry, with evidence of how you have met the highest standards with CQC and CIW and implemented into multiple businesses.
• QCF Level 5 qualification in health & social care or similar

• Open-minded, adaptable with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be professional, approachable, and an active listener.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
• Requires travel across the UK for site visits; a valid UK driving licence is necessary.
• Must be highly organised with strong planning, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
• Able to act as a "critical friend," providing constructive feedback while supporting performance improvement.
