Join us as a Quality Automation Specialist

1. In this key role, you’ll be undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models.
2. We’ll look to you to support teams in developing quality solutions and enabling continuous integration and assurance of defect-free deployment of customer value.
3. You’ll be working closely with feature teams and various stakeholders, providing great exposure to professional development opportunities.

What you'll do

Joining us in a highly collaborative role, you’ll contribute to transforming testing using quality processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You’ll ensure repeatable, consistent quality is integrated into all phases of the idea-to-value lifecycle, reducing costs or time to market. This role involves working with colleagues at multiple levels and across domains to embed quality into all activities.

Additionally, you’ll be:

1. Supporting the design of automation test strategies aligned with business or programme goals.
2. Evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing solutions.
3. Refining the scope of manual and automated testing, creating automated test scripts, documentation, and artifacts.
4. Designing and developing a low-maintenance suite of reusable automated tests, applicable within and across domains and systems in an end-to-end capacity.
5. Applying testing and delivery standards by understanding the product development lifecycle and compliance requirements.

The skills you'll need

We’re seeking someone with experience in automated testing within Agile or CI/CD environments. You should be an innovative thinker, capable of identifying opportunities and designing solutions, with the ability to develop complex automation code.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams is essential, along with a strategic view of feature development. Knowledge of the FinTech industry, especially Payments and Cards, is a plus.

We also look for:

1. Experience with end-to-end and automation testing using the latest tools recommended by enterprise frameworks.
2. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright and Appium.
3. Experience working with SaaS testing platforms such as Sauce Labs and BrowserStack.
4. Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Java, or Python.
5. Experience designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks in new environments.
6. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to management.
7. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
